THE PROBLEM
The old UI is bland and boring. Users are interacting, but not as much as the client would like them to.
BREAKING DOWM THE PROCESS
The client wanted to keep the logo and the picture she has on her website already, so I decided the picture she kept would be on the top of the website with the logo instead of having the picture randomly spread across the left site of the webstie.
The client sent me a file including some pictures she wanted added to her website so I took one of the pictures of her and made a graphic with it that she absolutely fell in love with.
Instead of just paragraphs, I decided to add pictures and separated each into its own section

Adding each of these sections made the website more interactable and allot more visually appealing. Users are spending more time on the website and the views increased by 160% from monthly views being 87 people now being 227 people.
The client then insisted that we not drastically change her services and her contact pages, so I tweaked and moved objects and words around and she enjoys what I have left it as for her.

Even a business consultant website can be attractive and engaging.
I originally took the job for just more experience, but I didn't realize the amount of fun and creativity that sprung up from working on this.
Even though it was a quick redesign the views on her site have increased drastically from 82 viewers monthly to 227 so we expect it to be climbing more and more since it's a new startup.

This website was a lot of fun to redesign, and the client always knew what she wanted and even when she didn't, the ideas I gave her she enjoyed them.
